The Hertfordshire Constabulary Choir
On Monday, 1 June, Holy Family Church, 194 Knightsfield, Welwyn Garden City, AL8 7RQ, will welcome the Hertfordshire Constabulary choir for an evening concert in support of CAFOD partners in communities in Ethiopia. The evening will begin at 7.30pm, and light refreshments will be available. All are welcome to attend, with tickets at the door for £5 each.
Holy Family is part of Connect2 Ethiopia, a scheme through which parishioners may offer support, exchange messages of solidarity, and share their lives with people living in communities with which CAFOD works in Ethiopia. All proceeds of the event will go towards supporting CAFOD’s partners in Ethiopia, as they work to improve the lives of their communities.

Our thanks go out to the Mucha Family Choir, who raised £242.10 for CAFOD with their wonderful performance at St Peter in Chains, Stroud Green.
The Mucha Family Choir
The family sang on Saturday 23 June for an audience of more than 130 people. Those lucky enough to have been present to enjoy the evening of music later described it as “a very enjoyable event.”
In addition to providing an evening’s entertainment for friends and parishioners, the talents of the Mucha Family helped to raise a great deal of money and support for CAFOD’s work. The donations received will help CAFOD to continue the fight against poverty and injustice around the world. Once again, we’d like to say a big thank you to the Mucha Family Choir, to Irena Cholij, who organised the event, and to all those at St Peter in Chains for their support and generosity.
A choir concert is just one of many excellent ways to bring parishes together to raise money for a good cause.
