Mary Immaculate & St Peter LiveSimply with CAFOD

The parish of Mary Immaculate & St Peter, Barnet encourages us all to LiveSimply through their recycling donation!

Thank you to CAFOD Volunteer Sheila Gallagher who, on behalf of her parish Mary Immaculate & St Peter, visited the CAFOD Westminster Volunteer Centre last week.

Sheila brought with her a large donation of recyclable items as part of Mary Immaculate & St Peter’s LiveSimply award criteria.

Did you know that recycling is just one of the many things you can do as part of CAFOD’s LiveSimply Award!

The LiveSimply award is an opportunity for Catholic communities – parishes, schools, religious orders and chaplaincies – to respond to Pope Francis’ invitation in Laudato Si’ to “work with generosity and tenderness in protecting this world which God has entrusted to us”. By working together as a community your parish could achieve the LiveSimply award together, whilst nourishing your spiritual life and care for God’s gift of creation.

Check out how other parishes have achieved the LiveSimply award!
