Understanding CAFOD 23rd January 2016

As my journey with the CAFOD Westminster diocese begins, over this Christmas holiday I was able to experience the work that goes on behind the scenes of CAFOD.

Bright and early on Monday 14th December, using the latest social media at hand, I assisted with the on-going preparations for the launch of Understanding CAFOD 2016. Whilst working in the CAFOD Westminster officer I was able to meet the lovely team, discovering their roles within CAFOD.

Cup of tea at hand, the task was to contact CAFOD members, in order to give the opportunity for members to receive the latest training, learning more about CAFOD’s work overseas. In addition to the amazing work CAFOD does overseas, this event will highlight how volunteers can provide support in England and Wales.

The Understanding CAFOD event will be taking place on the 23rd January 2016, and there are two venues which you can choose from if you should wish to attend.
