CAFOD stall

Andrew Mears running a CAFOD stall

Our Lady of Dolours parish in Hendon organised a parish activity day on Sunday 11 October so that the community could find out all about the wonderful things going on in the parish. There were many stalls, including one for CAFOD. Visitors were able to find out exactly where their contributions were going, and an extra £230 was raised for the harvest fast day appeal as a result of the event – a brilliant achievement.

Andrew Mears, who ran the CAFOD stall says, “The event made our Church something more than just mass, I felt a real sense of involvement as a Catholic.”

The parish are organising a boot fare for CAFOD as their next event. Thank you!
