On 11 July CAFOD is welcoming Fr Edwin Gariguez, one of our partners from the Philippines, to London. We are offering you to the fantastic opportunity to hear from Fr Edu himself who is an acclaimed speaker, environmental activist and the executive secretary of NASSA.
You will be able to find out how people have been able to rebuild and recover after Typhoon Haiyan with your help and see what challenges the Philippines still faces due to a changing climate. The day will include presentations of Father Edu’s work, a question and answer session and a choice of workshops such as ‘How to talk to your MP’ and ‘Campaigning on twitter and Facebook’ in the afternoon. The day will conclude with an optional mass with Fr Edu and is sure be an excellent experience for everyone. Please bring food for a shared lunch.
