If you’ve ever driven along the M11, you’ve seen the Harlow Water Tower. And if it’s ever crossed your mind what the view from the top must be like over the Essex countryside, this is the event for you!
CAFOD Brentwood is looking for supporters with a sense of adventure and a head for heights to help represent CAFOD at the annual Harlow Charity Abseil! The Abseil is organised by The Rotary Club of Harlow Tye, who have organised this event for over 10 years. They contract Dukes Barn, a fully accredited and insured organisation, whose instructors will train and supervise participants in their descent.
To take part in the abseil, you must be 16 years of age or older on Sunday 3rd May. There is a £30 participation fee, but no minimum sponsorship – however we know that the Catholic Community are always supportive of CAFOD and are keen to take action to help others! To find out more and request a registration form, please contact CAFOD Brentwood on 0208 502 9722 or email@example.com.
Want more opportunities to fundraise for CAFOD this summer? Don’t forget about Pedal Against Poverty, our annual sponsored bike ride through the lovely Lee Valley country park! Find out more at pedalagainstpoverty2015.eventbrite.co.uk or contact CAFOD Westminster on 0208 449 6970 or firstname.lastname@example.org.
