Go Potty for Toilets on World Toilet Day 2014!

There are 2.5 billion people in the world who do not have access to a toilet. That means that more people have access to a mobile phone than a toilet!

Having access to a toilet can make the world of difference.

10 year old Zimi lives in Zimbabwe. CAFOD’s partners built community toilets in Zimi’s village.

Having toilets in the school means we are more hygienic. We help out by washing the toilets and keeping them clean. It’s good having toilets and a well near the school. It makes our lives easier. Zimi, aged 10

Could you buy a  toilet for a community like Zimi’s? A community toilet costs just £85 with CAFOD World Gifts! Visit cafod.org.uk/Fundraise for fundraising ideas!
