Thanks go out to all the schools and youth groups around Westminster that organised events for this year’s Harvest Fast Day!
On Sunday, around 20 young people from the Church of Christ the King, Cockfosters, organised a car wash for CAFOD after Harvest Fast Day Masses, with the help of Brother Albert, of the Chemin Neuf community. Their efforts were supported by Father Sebastian, Deacon Cristophe, and parishioners Dominic and Giulia.
Meanwhile, students at St Columba’s College, St Albans, organised a ‘CAFOD Week’, including a simple lunch and a cake sale, raising more than £100 in the run up to Harvest Fast Day.
Thanks again to all the schools, parishes and youth groups that have organised events for Harvest Fast Day, and best of luck to those with events coming up! Harvest Fast Day is taking place this Friday, 3 October, so if you’re holding a simple Fast Day lunch or other activity for CAFOD, please do let us know by contacting us on 0208 449 6970 or westminster@cafod.org.uk.
