For The Love Of… Act on climate change now!

For the love of our brothers and sisters around the world, future generations, and all of God’s creation, we must take action on climate change now!

CAFOD volunteers Alana Kristi Balicdang and Stephen Bone share their reasons for taking action on climate change.

Every one of us loves something that will be affected by climate change. Whether it be children or grandchildren, plants and wildlife, or even something as basic as having enough food and water, CAFOD is asking you to share what you care most deeply about as inspiration to tackle climate change now!

CAFOD schools and youth volunteer, Alana Kristi Balicdang, wrote that she wants to stopIMG_3329 climate change “For the love of every generation”.

“Every generation was, is and will be affected by climate change,” added Alana. “Every generation will be affected differently, whether food shortage or water conflicts, but one thing is certain, whether at present of the future, everyone will be affected by climate change unless we do something.”

Office volunteer, Rosemary Dalton, is taking action “For the love of [her] grandchildren, that they still have hedgerows and trees and crops for food and clean water.”

Later this year, CAFOD will be sharing all your ‘loves’ with politicians to make them see you want them to act. To find out more about CAFOD’s For The Love Of… campaign and our work fighting climate change as part of The Climate Coalition, visit cafod.org.uk/fortheloveof.
