CAFOD volunteers were out in force this weekend at the annual Spirit in the City festival in Leicester Square!

Volunteers Alana, Ijeoma, and Patricia represented CAFOD at the festival, and enjoyed a great atmosphere, meeting people from all over the Westminster diocese and beyond. The team was assisted by Jay whose energy as CAFOD’s mascot – high-fiving everyone – and drew attention to our stall.

There was a great deal of interest and support from people unfamiliar with CAFOD and great support was received from many existing supporters. In passing, many took a moment to pause and reflect on what they love–and how climate change might have an effect thereon–as part of the “For the Love of” campaign.

Thanks to the Spirit in the City festival for inviting us again this year, and to our great team of volunteers for being a part of it!
