EVENT: Tackling poverty in the face of climate change

Join CAFOD for an evening talk with Antony Mbandi, Director of Caritas Kitui, a CAFOD partner in Kenya.  Antony will be sharing his experiences of how climate change is affecting peoples’ ability to grow food in his diocese.  You’ll also be among the first to find out how you can take action with CAFOD’s new campaign in 2014 and beyond. The event will take place in Amigo Hall (next to St. George’s Cathedral), London SE1 6HR on Thursday, 10 July from 6 – 9pm. Aged 18 – 30? Come to our evening talk for young adults on Wednesday, 2 July to find out what CAFOD is doing to tackle climate change, and how you can play a vital role. The event will take place at Romero House, 55 Westminster Bridge Road SE1 7JB. Doors open at 6pm with the short talk from Antony Mbandi (Director, Caritas Kitui – Kenya) starting at 7pm.
