On Saturday, 7 June, a ‘Call my Fairtrade wine bluff’ event will take place, as organised by the Candlelight Supper Club. Guests will be challenged to put their taste buds to the test in a blind tasting of a range of six Fairtrade wines, and see if they can match each wine to its tasting notes! Attendees will be seated on tables of six, so no need to form your own team in advance unless you wish to.
The event will run from 7-10pm at The Immaculate Conception parish hall, 114 Mount Street, London W1K 3AH. Tickets cost £15, with all proceeds going to CAFOD, and a generous selection of delicious canapés are included in the ticket price. There will also be plenty of information on where to buy Fairtrade wines on the high street, so be sure to make a note of your favourites!
