Pedal Against Poverty 2014 is only two months away!

Grab your helmet and get yourself into gear, this year’s Pedal Against Poverty sponsored bike ride is just around the corner!

CAFOD supporters from London, Hertfordshire and further afield will gather in the morning of Sunday, 18 May, for a refreshing summer cycle through the beautiful Lee Valley Regional Park. Open to riders of all ages, the event offers both a 10 mile ride starting in Cheshunt and a 19 mile course for more experienced riders beginning in Ponders End. Riders on both routes will meet up at the midway point in Broxbourne for a group picnic.

With just under 2 months to go before the event, time is running out to book your place and join  hundreds of riders as they Pedal Against Poverty. The sooner you register, the more time you’ll have to gather as many sponsors as possible and really help to make a difference to people living in poverty and hunger around the world. Anyone and everyone is welcome to take part in the ride so get your friends and family involved for a fun, healthy and worthwhile day out.

Get in touch with the CAFOD Westminster office now on 0208 449 6970 or at for further details. You can register a place on the ride here:

Don’t own a bike or can’t make it to the ride? You can still support CAFOD and those taking part in the event by donating via our justgiving page here:

We look forward to seeing you all there!
