St Dominic’s Sixth Form students learn how to get involved with CAFOD!

A big thank you goes out to all the students and staff at St Dominic’s Sixth Form, Harrow, for giving CAFOD volunteers Alana and Maureen such a warm welcome at their careers fair last wednesday!

Maureen and Alana handed out leaflets and campaign cards and explained how students and those about to leave full time education could get involved in volunteering with CAFOD. The students were so enthusiastic about finding out more about CAFOD that the volunteers ran out of hand outs!

“The students were all very welcoming and very interested in volunteering for Cafod,” said Alana. “It was a heart-warming experience due to the amount of the students who are very keen.”

With Harvest Fast Day nearly upon us, now is the perfect time to arrange for a CAFOD speaker to visit your school, confirmation group, or youth group. If you would like to arrange a CAFOD visit, get in touch with us on 0208 449 6970 or westminster@cafod.org.uk.

Thanks again to everyone at St Dominic’s and to volunteers Alana and Maureen for helping to inspire a new generation of CAFOD supporters!
