The confirmation group at St Thomas More, Eastcote, took advantage of a moment of spring weather earlier this month to raise money and awareness for CAFOD’s latest campaign.
The group organised a car wash following Masses in their parish, and also put their baking skills on show by baking and selling cakes to parishioners as well.
Many thanks to everyone in the confirmation group for your great work, and to everyone at St Thomas More for your support!
Organising an event in your parish is a great way to not only help support many of the world’s poorest communities as they work their way out of poverty, but also to raise awareness of injustices that make the cycle of poverty continue. Why not rally support in your parish for CAFOD’s Hungry for Change campaign during April by telling others about the campaign and encouraging them to sign a card or take action online?
