Many thanks to the Confirmation Group at SS Michael and Martin, Hounslow, for putting their culinary skills on show to help CAFOD!

The group baked a great deal of delicious cakes and put them on sale after Masses in the parish.  This tasty event raised a grand total of £265 for CAFOD.  Well done!

Many thanks to all of the confirmation candidates for their hard work and support, and to parish catechist Natalie Smith for her help in organising this event.

Organising your own bake sale is a great way to help support the world’s poorest communities to work their way out of poverty.  If you’re looking to put on your own event but don’t know where to start, have a look at CAFOD’s A-Z of Fundraising for a wealth of good ideas.

Or, if you’re looking for an activity your whole team can take part in, why not register now for the annual Pedal Against Poverty Cycle Ride? Registration is now open for this year’s ride, taking place on Sunday, 23 June, in the Lee Valley Country Park.
