To avoid conflicting with the planned Enough Food for Everyone IF campaign mobilisation, the date for Pedal Against Poverty has been shifted back by two weeks.
We hope you’ll ride with us on Sunday, 23 June.
CAFOD’s annual sponsored bike ride will again take to the towpaths alongside the River Lea in the Lee Valley Country Park in North London. Riders can choose between a 10 mile return route commencing in Cheshunt, or a full 19 mile return route beginning in Ponders End. At the ride’s midway point in Broxbourne, riders will pause for a community picnic before setting off on the return journey.
Registration costs £6 per rider (covers all of the administrative costs of the ride, including the cost of a CAFOD cycling vest for you to wear on the day). Family, friends, and teams are very welcome, so why not challenge others in your school or parish to ride with you and help make a bigger difference in the fight against poverty?
Registration forms can be downloaded here: PAP 2013 Registration Form, and can be returned to CAFOD Westminster by email or by post. For more information, contact firstname.lastname@example.org.
