CAFOD visit St Dominic’s RC Sixth Form College Fresher’s Fair

CAFOD school volunteers Frances Stewart and Nathan Nye represented CAFOD at St Dominic RC Sixth Form College start of year fresher’s fair on Wednesday 5th September.

Frances and Nathan were encouraging the 16-17 year olds to volunteer for CAFOD by campaigning, fundraising or by speaking in their local parishes this Harvest Fast Day. “I couldn’t believe how eager the new students were to sign up for voluntary work, especially on their first day of school”, said CAFOD volunteer Nathan Nye, “We ran out of volunteering leaflets and our new Hungry for Change campaign cards before the bell rang”.
