EVENT: Pedal Against Poverty – 27 May 2012

Pedal Against Poverty

Sunday, 27 May 2012

Lee Valley Country Park, North London/Hertfordshire

Join us on annual Pedal Against Poverty Cycle ride to celebrate 50 years of CAFOD’s poverty fighting work throughout the world!

Riders can choose between two routes through the scenic Lee Valley Country Park: the full 18 mile return route commencing from Ponders End Lock, or a shorter 10 mile return route beginning in Cheshunt.  Both routes follow the wide, flat towpaths alongside the River Lea, and meet in Broxbourne around lunchtime, where riders are welcome to join in a community picnic.

Pedal Against Poverty is suitable for cyclists of all ages, though we do ask that riders under the age of 18 be accompanied by a responsible adult.  All riders taking part must wear safety helmets.

£6 registration fee.  Download a registration form here
