A gracious thank you to the Young at Heart Club of Our Lady and St Thomas of Canterbury, Harrow-on-the-Hill, for hosting a soup lunch for CAFOD.

More than 30 parishioners came together to enjoy the community lunch, and in the process raised more than £300 for CAFOD.   Thanks to UKAid, the UK Government will make a matching donation of £300, meaning that this soup lunch has effectively raised £600 for CAFOD.  Well done!

Special thanks also to Angela Gannon and Joanna Switalska for organising this event.

There’s still time to double your impact this Lent!  Through match giving, the UK government will make a matching donation for any money you raise during Lent—pound for pound!   For full details of Match Giving—including important deadlines—visit http://www.cafod.org.uk/lentmatch
