Good luck to Fast Day speakers this weekend

CAFOD volunteer Andrea with Tony Sheen

Good luck to all of our volunteers who, like Andrea (left), will be speaking at mass or handing out envelopes this weekend ahead of Lent Fast Day on Friday 2nd March.  Fast Days are a tremendous undertaking, and we truly appreciate your time and effort in helping support CAFOD’s long-term projects in the developing world.

Thank you also to the parish priests and communities who are welcoming CAFOD speakers into their masses this and next weekend.  We are most grateful for setting aside time for us to speak to your congregations.

Thanks to UK Match Funding  your contributions this Lent will be matched pound for pound by the UK Government.  Your donation will have double the impact, so take advantage of this unique opportunity!

Finally, if you need a last-minute copy of the talk, children’s liturgy, posters, or other resources, you can download them from www.cafod.org.uk/lent.  If you need an even shorter version of the Lent talk, you can download a copy from the link below. Many thanks to volunteer David Pearson from Wembley for putting this together.
