A message to Lucas and Sueli from St Columba’s College

Tony Sheen writes:

One of the messages from England which I will share with the communities we meet in Brazil is this video from the students at St. Columba’s College in St. Albans. They were as moved as I was by the stories of Lucas, a boy whom I met in the favelas of São Paulo in 2007, and of Sueli, a worker with CAFOD’s Connect 2 partner MDF (Movimento de Defensa do Favela). The students have worked to raise money and awareness of those who live in abject poverty, and have sent this message to show their solidarity with those in the favelas of São Paulo.
