Great Success in Brazil

CAFOD Westminster’s Tony Sheen (back centre) with workers from APOIO on a visit to Brazil

Fantastic news today from Sao Paulo, Brazil, where CAFOD’s partner APOIO has successfully secured housing for 220 homeless families.

The families had been sheltering in a building which had lain abandoned and disused for 15 years. Through APOIO’s tireless campaigning, the local authorities have now agreed to reclaim the building from its owner and refurbish it so that the families can make lasting homes there.

Congratulations from CAFOD Westminster!
